Red is the one wavelength you can use late without undoing the rest of the evening, which is why these two belong together.

The blanket wraps 2,520 LEDs around the body at over 135 mW/cm², running red at 660nm and near-infrared at 850nm. Sessions are ten to thirty minutes and it separates into two independent mats when you only want one half.

The glasses handle everything the blanket is not emitting. Red lenses filtering blue and green between 400 and 550nm mean screens, ceiling bulbs and the television stop telling your body clock it is still the middle of the day.

One adds light the body can use at that hour. The other removes the light it cannot.

Treatment Guidelines

Glasses on two to three hours before bed, and keep them on until you are under the covers. Carry on with screens and lamps exactly as normal.

Blanket for ten to thirty minutes. The timer runs to ninety but the treatment window is the first thirty, because light therapy has a biphasic dose response and past a point more exposure does less than the right amount.

Bare skin wherever you can manage it. Clothing blocks most of the light before it reaches tissue.

Wear the protective eyewear inside the blanket. The glasses are for the room afterwards, not for lying inside 2,520 diodes.

Blanket four to five times a week. Glasses every single evening, because the body clock answers to consistency far more than to intensity.
