Training damages tissue and the repair happens in the hours afterwards. These two devices work on that window from opposite ends.

The boots are mechanical. Six chambers per leg inflating in sequence from foot to hip, 30 to 260 mmHg, six programmes. The effect arrives during the session and you feel it as the legs getting lighter.

The mat is cellular and slower. 1,440 LEDs at 660nm and 850nm across 180 by 65 centimetres, with you lying directly on the source so almost nothing is lost to distance. That effect is cumulative, and four sessions a week beats one long one.

Treatment Guidelines

Boots first. Twenty to thirty minutes, legs straight, starting at a lower pressure in the first week.

Then the mat for twenty minutes. Bare skin against the surface wherever possible, since clothing blocks most of the dose. Face up for hips, hamstrings and calves, face down for back and shoulders.

Protective eyewear comes with the mat and should go on before you lie down, particularly face down.

Boots whenever the legs feel heavy, including daily. Mat four to five times a week, since that side is cumulative.

Speak to your doctor before using compression if you have a history of blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, an open wound or a fracture in the leg, or if you are pregnant.

Which one do I feel first?

The boots, during the first session. The mat works on a scale of weeks and you should not expect anything immediate from it.

Why lie on the mat rather than use a panel?

Irradiance drops off quickly with distance. Lying directly on 1,440 LEDs means almost none of the output is lost before it reaches you.

Can I use them on the same evening?

Yes, and in that order. Boots first, mat second. About fifty minutes for both.

How often?
